Deep/Therapeutic Massage

Deep tissue massage is a increased pressure using various techniques to target the sub-layer of musculature and fascia(protective layer surrounding the muscles, bones, and joints). The focus of this type of massage is to work on adhesions, knots, release connective tissue(fascia), and realign scar tissue to ease pain, increase range of motion, and reduce inflammation in the body. Deep tissue massage is commonly provided for sport/soft tissue injuries, MVA related injuries, chronic conditions, and providing stress/tension relief making it a great choice for pain management therapy.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is a gentle massage that uses light, smooth, and long gliding strokes which allows your body to fully relax, which in turn calms your nervous system, relieves stress, and promotes an overall sense of well being. The purpose of a relaxation massage is to increase circulation and aid in the stimulation of the lymphatic system(carries away waste products). The gentle relaxation techniques help to reduce cortisol(the stress hormone) which can also help reduce high blood pressure, help with insomnia, promoting clarity and balancing body and mind.

Prenatal / Postnatal Massage

Prenatal massage gives relief with the everyday aches/pains associated with pregnancy. This massage helps with muscle cramps/spasms and reduced myofascial pain especially in the lower back, hips, and legs.

Postnatal massage is used to reduce pain in sore or tense muscles, regulate hormones, aid sleep patterns, improve breastfeeding, and decrease postpartum depression. Postnatal massage helps to speed up your recovery after birth.
